Higher Learning Commission
Emmaus Bible College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The Higher Learning Commission is one of six regional accreditors in the U.S. The Higher Learning Commission accredits colleges and universities in a 19-state region including the State of Iowa. Association for Biblical Higher Education
Emmaus Bible College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), formerly the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (AABC). ABHE is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the accrediting agency for biblical higher education. www.abhe.org
State of Iowa Department of Education
Emmaus Teacher Education (K-8 and 5-12) and Music Education (K-12) programs are approved by the State of Iowa for teacher licensure. Successful program graduates are eligible to be recommended for an Iowa Teachers’ License. www.boee.iowa.gov
Veteran's Administration (VA)

Evangelical Training Association (ETA)
Emmaus is a member of the Evangelical Training Association (ETA) and is thereby authorized to award the ETA Teaching Diploma to those students meeting the requirements.
